Open my unit's setup page

Or type this address yourself: http://192.168.8.1/setup/

If it doesn't open

The button does nothing, or the page won't load

Your device is not connected to the unit yet. On a laptop, turn Wi-Fi off and use the Ethernet cable in the Home unit's LAN port. On a phone, check that you joined the Away unit's Wi-Fi, not another network. Then try again.

At a hotel, or with no internet?

This website needs the internet, but your unit's setup page does not. Join your Away unit's Wi-Fi and type http://192.168.8.1/setup/ directly. Bookmark it for next time.

The browser says “Not secure”

A small “Not secure” label next to the address is expected for this local page. A full-page certificate warning is not: stop, check that you typed the address exactly, and if it persists email support@packetmole.com.

The router login page opens instead

Unplug the unit's power cable, wait 10 seconds, plug it back in, wait 90 seconds, then try the full address again. Do not press Reset. More help is in the online manual and the FAQ.
