Terms of service

Last updated: September 3, 2026

1. What you're buying

You are purchasing PacketMole, a two-piece hardware product consisting of two GL.iNet routers, pre-configured by us, plus supporting accessories. This is a one-time hardware sale, not a service subscription. There is no recurring fee.

2. What you're NOT buying

You are not purchasing a managed VPN service, a hosted tunnel, ongoing technical support beyond the standard 30-day return window, or a guarantee that any specific third-party service (Tailscale, your ISP, etc.) will remain available or unchanged. PacketMole relies on Tailscale. Its Personal plan is currently free for eligible non-commercial use; business use may require a different plan. Tailscale controls its terms, pricing, and availability. Changes may require additional configuration or a paid plan, and continued compatibility is not guaranteed.

3. Refunds & returns

Returns are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You are responsible for how you use PacketMole, including compliance with applicable laws and your agreements with third-party services. PacketMole does not guarantee access to any particular service or establish that you satisfy its physical-location or eligibility requirements.

We will not knowingly provide assistance for terrorism, human trafficking, child sexual exploitation, nonconsensual sexual exploitation, violent crime, or other serious abuse or exploitation of people.

5. Optional pre-sale connectivity test

If we agree to a free pre-sale connectivity test, you authorize the scheduled, temporary connection from a device and network you are authorized to use. The normal session is limited to 15 minutes and temporary access is removed after the test. A successful test only indicates that the tested location and network reached the temporary exit point at that time. It does not guarantee speed, future connectivity, access to a particular service, performance through your home internet, or satisfaction of physical-location or service-eligibility rules.

6. Warranty disclaimer

PacketMole is sold “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. For purchases under this version of the Terms, PacketMole does not add a separate voluntary one-year hardware warranty. Manufacturer coverage, if any, is controlled by the manufacturer's eligibility and terms; we do not promise direct manufacturer service for resold or configured routers. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be waived under applicable law or withdraws a written promise that applied to an earlier purchase. Hardware problems and returns are handled under the policy that applied when the order was purchased.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to PacketMole is limited to the purchase price paid. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
